During a routine review of the PolicyGov UK website, we identified an unintended technical issue which resulted in the names and photographs of some authors whose articles were featured on our platform being displayed within the “Our People” section.
PolicyGov UK wishes to clarify that the individuals concerned are not members, researchers, advisors, or formal affiliates of PolicyGov UK.
The relevant content was published as part of our public interest information initiative, based on publicly available material, including authors’ published opinions, social media commentary, columns, and media analysis. However, due to a website configuration issue, author details appeared in a section that could unintentionally create a misleading impression.
Once the issue was identified, we took immediate corrective action and removed the relevant information from the “Our People” section.
PolicyGov UK will continue to strengthen its editorial and technical processes by ensuring accurate source attribution, appropriate author identification, necessary permissions where required, and compliance with responsible publishing standards.
